  1. Hey Richard, I thought you have a terrific idea and I can see significant improvement in the participation levels with Blogging in my classroom. I used to have students wander to different websites within my class to do whatever; since the introduction of my website which has an page dedicated to blogging, my students' first action in my class after sitting is logging onto my website and blogging on the daily topic. My students really take ownership with this aspect, and they really enjoy some of the topics. I have gotten comments from parents that some students access the site outside of school just to get a look at some of their peer's comments. What blogging has done in my class is it has given a voice to everyone, and has provided a platform to practice articulating themselves. You are right about students using Facebook as a resource; i want to get to the point where I can have a blog and an IM chat room to increase class participation. These options have certainly improved my class. Good commercial and I like how you performed certain voices to lighten the tone of the video!
